Running without being chased

I officially started running this morning. My friend Chris came over at 6 am and we ran and walked about 2 miles. My legs are sore and I am hoping that by running in the morning that the day’s activity will keep me from getting too sore. I should have looked this up before we started, but this is the plan for working up to 5k in about 2 months.
